Not all HomeSuite Rentals come with parking. To confirm whether or not parking is included in your lease, please consult section 9 of the lease agreement. If you have any questions about what the parking section in your lease means, please consult the following guide.
Parking Is Not Available
If parking is not available, your lease will have the "does not have available parking" box checked as indicated by the blue arrow below. This means that your landlord does not offer parking for your unit.
Parking Is Available, But Not Included in Your Lease
If the landlord offers parking at your unit, but you have chosen not to include parking in your lease, the lease agreement will look like the below image. The box highlighted by the blue arrow indicates that parking is available, but the box highlighted by the red arrow shows that you have not elected to have parking during your stay.
Parking Is Included
If parking is available and included with your unit, the box highlighted by the red arrow will be checked to indicate that parking is available, and the box highlighted by the blue arrow will be checked to indicate that you have secured one or more parking spaces. If there are additional permits required for your parking space, the box highlighted by the green arrow will be checked. If the box highlighted by the green arrow is checked, you will need to contact your landlord for further information about the required permits(s). The parking section will also include the below information:
- a. Number of parking spaces: This will tell you how many spaces you have secured.
- b. Parking space(s) description: This will included a description of what kind of space you have. Examples of parking space descriptions include: space in secured garage, covered space, uncovered space, driveway space.
- c. Parking fee: This section will tell you how much your parking will cost a month. The cost of parking will be included in your monthly rent invoice as a separate line item. If parking is included at no cost, the section will state $0 a month.
