TIP #1: HOW TO OFFER A DIFFERENT PROPERTY LISTED ON HOMESUITE

If the requested property is not available, and you would like to offer a different one, please follow these instructions to log in to your Homesuite dashboard and obtain the link to that property. If you do not have an existing Homesuite listing for that property, you will need to create one.
 
TIP #2: FOLLOW THESE BEST PRACTICES WHEN RESPONDING TO CUSTOMERS
  • Respond fast! Responding within 5 minutes dramatically increases your chances to turn an inquiry into a submitted application! 
  • Be charming, and don’t be pushy. Start messages with “Hi [insert customer name]” and end them with “If you are ready, make sure to apply soon by clicking the “Reserve Now” link before someone else does. I look forward to your stay!” Always focus on answering the customers’ questions and proposing a next step, rather than rushing them to book the property.
  • Do everything you can to meet the customers’ needs! If the requested dates don’t work, or if they need a discount, try to solve the problem by doing one of three things: (1) attach new dates, (2) provide a monthly rent discount using the special offer tool, or (3) send the Homesuite link to an alternate property. The best landlords are problem solvers who do everything they can to meet the customers’ needs!
  • Make sure that all questions asked are addressed, and suggest they apply quickly by clicking the “Reserve Now” link. Let them know your property is in high demand and can be booked by someone else at any point!
  • Remember that the customer quote includes a Homesuite fee, so instead of quoting prices in your messages, focus on ensuring that all pricing details on your listings are up-to-date and accurate. This will save everyone a lot of headache and confusion!
TIP #3: NEVER SHARE OR REQUEST CONTACT INFORMATION
